The Black Rase-motte Lamp by Agnès Bitton draws its name from an aviation term expressing a type of very low altitude flight courses to avoid detection. The lamp articulates at will, nods, contradicts, flaunts itself, and plays discreetly. At night, its dark gold underside traces a ray of light like a blade, or casts unusual halos on the wall. The Rase-motte Lamp is part of the permanent collection of Mobilier national.
