“This collection is a reference to the “French Riviera” of the 1920s, I was inspired by this mixture of casualness and creativity on the shores of the Mediterranean. The choice of materials: cane, vintage 1950s fabric and straw marquetry; more sophisticated, reflecting sunlight, give the place a seaside feel. I have worked on very organic shapes like the clover or the snake that bring a bucolic lightness to the project.”

Aiming at reviving the great French tradition of “ensemblier”, Charlotte Biltgen’s designs always resonate with the context of a given space: whether a restaurant, a hotel or a residential space, she invents a specific tailor-made atmosphere, thus continuously renewing her creative approach and signature.
