The Modulo Coffee Table by Oscar Niemeyer is named after the magazine he founded in the 1950s. “Módulo” was one of Brazil’s most influential publications, covering a variety of topics ranging from architecture to design, and culture at large. Designed in the 1970s, the Módulo Coffee Table is an eye-catching, sculptural piece defined by a striking asymmetric shape. The abstractness of the Modulo coffee table makes it particularly interesting, furthermore the piece reflects the style carried by Oscar Niemeyer’s famous architecture. Niemeyer designed it along side his daughter, Anna Maria Niemeyer, in 1978.
