      ABOUT THE DESIGNER

Julie Deault is the artist behind Musette Céramique. Currently living and working in Toronto, Canada, Julie has spent many years learning weaving techniques and working with textiles in Montréal, then venturing into studying silversmithing in the mountains of Mexico. Her new passion is clay, and her brand Musette Céramique. From her tiny studio, she makes sculptural pieces applying coiling and pinching techniques, a slow process that contributes to all kinds of beautiful irregularities and makes each piece one of its kind. Inspired by movement, textures, imperfections, and the beauty of raw clay, each sculpture is a unique work of art to be cherished forever.
