“Sevigné” is a homage to Madame de Sévigné, Marquise and first French novelist. Designed by Studioparisien, the Sévigné Armchair with its curves wraps you up and accompanies you in your exchanges, as well as in your moments of laziness or solitude.

Laurène Barbier Tardrew, an interior architect and designer trained at Penninghen, and Romain Jourdan, a scenographer and designer, met while working on their first project for a French luxury house — a collaboration they describe as “a true revelation.” Their partnership quickly proved fluid and effervescent, nourished by their complementary sensibilities. Together they develop expressive, elegant and contemporary spaces that highlight the excellence of French craftsmanship and reflect a singular language where refined aesthetics meet a form of precious brutalism.
