“Le Luco” is the nickname given to the Luxembourg Gardens by the young Parisians. It’s a playful nod from the architectural duo Studio Parisien to this stunning design. With an alluring interplay of contrasts between the seemingly simple oval-shaped top and the sturdy column-like legs, the Luco Table is available in a variety of finishes, from glossy to natural, that define its personality.
Laurène Barbier Tardrew, an interior architect and designer trained at Penninghen, and Romain Jourdan, a scenographer and designer, met while working on their first project for a French luxury house — a collaboration they describe as “a true revelation.” Their partnership quickly proved fluid and effervescent, nourished by their complementary sensibilities. Together they develop expressive, elegant and contemporary spaces that highlight the excellence of French craftsmanship and reflect a singular language where refined aesthetics meet a form of precious brutalism.
