Fritz Hansen’s Easy Chair (Model 1669), circa 1930, is a classic Scandinavian design landmark. The armchair’s sloping backrest and gently curved armrests offer ergonomic comfort, while retaining a sober, refned aesthetic.
Founded in 1872 by cabinetmaker Fritz Hansen, the eponymous atelier began manufacturing high-quality Danish furniture in 1885, and soon enjoyed growing success. Today, Fritz Hansen is one of the best-known Danish furniture companies in the world, thanks in particular to its collaboration with the famous designer and architect Arne Jacobsen.
This piece is part of a collection of twentieth-century designs sourced and impeccably restored and upholstered by Jouffre.
