The Mushroom Chair, emblematic of Artifort design, is a revolutionary creation by Pierre Paulin. Manufactured using an innovative one-piece elastic covering technique, the Mushroom Chair is the first piece of furniture of its kind. Its distinctive design marked the furniture era of the 60s and continues to inspire many sculptural creations. It is now honoured in MoMA’s permanent collection, as testament to its importance in the history of design.
These pieces are part of a collection of twentieth-century designs sourced and impeccably restored and upholstered by Jouffre.
