The L.A. Side Table by Leo Sentou is a reinterpretation of a “servante monopole” by eighteenth-century master cabinetmaker Louis Aubry (1741-1814). Forged entirely by hand in Europe, with a delicately textured finish, its sinuous lines project a strong sculptural presence, contrasting beautifully with a series of tabletops in a variety of materials. Alabaster, glass and lacquered wood: each with its distinctive textured characteristics, which, depending on choice, lend the piece an entirely different persona.
Trained at the ENSAAMA Olivier de Serres School in Paris before moving to London to take a master’s degree at Central Saint Martins, Leo Sentou works on high end residential and hospitality projects honing his skills and sense for detail, whilst growing a strong passion for beautiful finishes. In 2021, Leo launched his first furniture line that encapsulates his love for noble materials and exceptional craftmanship.
